So sick of snow, it’s like a curse; but Seuss reminds me, could be worse.
recently i got to see some beautiful glass pieces by lino tagliapietra at the schantz gallery.  it was moving to stand inches away from so much vulnerable beauty, something that took such dedication to create, that could so easily be shattered.  
a collage of some of my books before boxing.  shelves went into the trash, books into storage.  fighting visions of storage place flooding or burning or swarming with locusts. 
if i hadn’t moved my life could well have looked like this. perhaps not so bad in retrospect.
it is beautiful here.  but i miss brooklyn.
the man who painted this painted from memory - his brilliant but bi-polar father spent an enormous sum in hiring balloon artists to create and float animal balloons over their oceanside home one summer.
1800s cemetery down the street. 
staying in a beautiful 1700s house in mass. with this pool to myself except now it’s too cold.
